On Pony Island, you can get a cheap, not-so-great-quality pony for 200 - 300 PG. Sure, you can find 'em cheaper, but not cheaper enough to matter most-times, since you can sell to the trial market for 100 PG.

On Wajas, you can get a cheap, not-so-great-quality waja for 20k-30k WC. Sure, you can find 'em cheaper, but not cheaper enough to matter most-times, since you can sell to the Raffle for 15k WC (I think).

So by this logic, one would expect a rough estimate of 100 PG == 10k WC, or 1 PG == 100 WC.

WHY AM I BEING TOLD THE GOING RATE IS 1 PG == 10 WC?! That makes no sense! What the FUCK.

Because there's no good way to make money without spending money there so it's difficult to hang on to and stuff, meaning there's less PG around so it's worth more? It's how accessible the money is that determins the cost, like how it's incredibly easy to earn stuff on FP, so it's worth less when trading across sites.

I haven't checked the PI market to see what the going rate is in the other direction, but to me, because PG is rarer it would make it worth more on another site where it's easier to earn money. 1,000 PG isn't easy to earn. Sure, you get your salary, but a good chunk of that's gotta go to feed/vet ponies. 10,000 WC is like...nothing. You can earn 8850 a minute EASY, and EVERYONE can. It reeks to me of PI players falsely setting prices to benefit themselves.

I just got back from Napa, CA, where I indulged in the best goddamn pizza to ever wreak havoc on my digestive system. Seriously, I nearly drove the wheelman off the road with that stench. I was proud.

But that pizza is special pizza, and is marked "DO NOT EAT -- Risk of intestinal implosion", because gadamn. I clogged a gas station bathroom with that aftermath. My poor digestive system.
